Obviously I'm no doctor.. but is it possible that he should have been stretchered off rather than allowed to walk? could the slightest strain have triggered his relapse?


Would be ironic and sad if not using a stretcher may have caused harm, when any player these days who fancies a tumble has to be carried off.

Not sure if it would of made any difference but it was quite bizarre that he walked off the pitch after that. Quite shocking

Yes, but they probably just thought it was exhaustion / dehydration when he went down, they don't exactly do ECGs for MI's / AF on the pitch.
