Spam After Club Shop Order?

Morning All,

I have woken up this morning to an insane amount of spam to my e-mail inbox. I usually don't get all the normal rubbish but that seems to have changed.

Thinking back to yesterday the only place I put my e-mail was when I changed it on Seagulls Direct - had anyone else had a similar influx of spam after signing up/changing e-mail on there or is this just an unhappy coincidence?

Interestingly my hotmail account was flooded with spam this morning. I assumed I'd accidently changed a setting.

But I haven't made any changes to my seagulls account.

Interesting - may be a Hotmail thing then. Maybe they have fiddled with the junk settings

Same here, woke up this morning and my inbox was full of shit, just spent the last half hour unsubscribing and blocking it all

woke up to over 120 spam emails in Hotmail today after years of zero spam. just changed my spam folder setting to "exclusive only" for a bit

I have my own web site and email address. This means I can put anything in front of the address for email. For NSC my email is nsc@mywebsite.co.uk and my bank is lloyds@mywebsite.co.uk
So if I start getting spam I can trace it back with the email address. So if today I get 100 emails addressed to nsc@mywebsite.co.uk I know Bozza has sold my details on. But I can then block that address.

Could it be related to the browser used? I browse with Safari, have a hotmail address and no spam.
