Looks set for a possible wet Qualifying but at the moment a dry race.

Webber looks strong in practice and Alonso also looks solid, Mclaren were third and fourth so they look good also.

Vettel always seems a bit quiet in practise then just storms it in Qualifying and the race, but i think with Mclaren being so strong in recent races and Vettel looking like he does not like pressure to much, he can win a race when he has a big 10+sec advantage but it comes across to me that when someone is over the back of him he makes a error.

Looking forward to the weekend but have a charity event to go to tomorrow in London, so will miss the race

What is the ruling regarding qualifying times, is it something like fastest time plus 7%, anything over that it is at the stewards discretion whether a driver can start. If that is true, by my reckoning only the first ten drivers would qualify, everyone else is over. Also, what is the score with Schumacher, who didn't set a time?

I am not sure BBC said 4 drivers didnt make the time rule but they thought the stewards would let them as the weather conditions were so changing, Schumacher will be allowed to race i think, but team might get a penalty as his car clearly was not safe.

Just watched it on BBC iplayer - whilst it isn't right, what goes around comes around. Hamilton is the first to squeal when someone does it to him, but lets remember what Hamilton did to Maldanado in Monaco.

Horses for courses in my book. But then again I do not like Hamiltons driving style - never have. Derek Bell is driving our car at Goodwood, now he could show Hamilton a thing or two.

Whilst it is a pretty impressive coup to have Bell drive your car, I'm not sure that as a 1 point in his career and no podiums man that Bell could teach Lewis anything much about F1 racing that Lewis doesn't already knows.

I wasn't referring to winning to be honest, whilst it is the ultimate reason for racing (for most people as capacity wise we can never win any race we enter), there are ways and means of achieving it....

The most successful drivers in history have held no prisoners. Senna, Schumacher, Prost, Montoya, etc... would all eat their opposition alive, given half a chance. Why should Hamilton be any different?
