Watching the late news on Meridien last night, I was struck by the thought that Marcella Whittingdale was done up like a two-bit whore. Her cascading blonde locks were in stark contrast to the vivid scarlet lipstick she was wearing last night. And she NEVER crosses her legs when she's perched awkwardly on that studio settee for the introductory side-shot before the full-on facial.

Had I been alone in the room at the time, I may have been tempted to knock a sneaky one out.

She seems to have been on duty all this week for the regional late slot during ITV News at about 10.50. Well worth tuning in if she's wearing that lippy again, she looked absolute FILTH.

Please note she only seems to be on Monday to Wednesday mornings.

Thursday and Friday's bulletins are presented by Gareth Evans, who doesn't look quite so naughty.
