I sort of wonder what happens if everyone turns up at Brighton station and demands to go to Falmer? The club said it's something like 12,000 people coming via train I think. Of course some come from the East, but say 8,000 come from Brighton. It'd be lovely to see Southern's response, but I doubt they'd even give a shit.

I would imagine they would close down the station then tell everyone it was on police orders

They refused to open the station for the Fat Boy Slim concert so SASTA had previous form for this, it's up to Barber to earn his 600k and force the issue so it's sorted for next week

That's a cheap shot Ernest ! You can't put the onus on the football club to put things right !

As I work for VT East Coast its worth pointing out that the Taxpayer is getting far more money from Virgin in premiums than East Coast made in profit. We have also invested over £21 million in rolling stock refurbishment, brought in free wifi, better catering, upgraded all station lounges, and introduced on board entertainment all on trains that have two years left until the new Azumas come in. That would have NEVER happened under Govt control but hey ho lets all buy into the fabricated RMT driven fantasy that nationalisation would be great.

Currently the RMT are trying to prevent ant train company from making any change. In the case of VT despite being promised that nobody will lose their job unless they want redundancy and nobody will be paid less than they are today.

We WILL run a full service regardless of any strike.

Your wifi NEVER works.

Think you might have our East Coast services mistaken for our West Coast pendolinos? I'll wager you £1k that I could take you on any of our trains and you'd be able to browse anything other than video streaming pretty well between London and Edinburgh.

I traveled from Preston to Euston (11.58) on Monday this week and the wifi never worked the whole way down, was pretty pissed off about it to be honest and had to make do with my own 3G which cut out many times .
I claim my £1000 !

I have travelled fairly regularly on East Coast between Kings Cross and Newcastle over the last few years and can confirm that I have found the WiFi to work perfectly well whenever I've needed it.

So west coast VT travelers get a worst service than East coast travelers ?

What is a "div" do i take its a childish word that means to be disrespectful?

No geographically challenged [emoji6]. The fact is that west coast don't have the length of franchise left to justify the investment required to get wifi working well. Will be much better post next bid.
