I'm presuming you have to go via London which is a bit shit, but you would have thought that the last train from Southend to London would be around 11pm giving loads of time to get to the station.

Getting back from London would be a piece of piss anytime before 2am I imagine.

Southend is always a great day out culminating in disappointment but this year I think it may be different. MA has a great record of laying to rest bogey team results. He did it at Orient and last week he did it at Crewe. I reckon we'll get at least a draw and take over a 1000 to witness it maybe double that if results go our way before we play them
