Anyone know how the likelyhood of it being moved to the Friday? Don't really want to book flights/tunnel crossing for the Friday night and then for the game to be moved to the Friday...

Unlikely I would have thought as we play Gillingham away on the Tuesday that week.

I think it was moved last year because of august bank holiday and insufficient police resources on a saturday; too much action on the seafront!

Yep, and they like friday night games at southend. I guess they would need our approval too though..good spot about the gillingham game, should rule that one out

sell out?I don't think it will quite sell out but I think there definitely be a decent turn out.
It's a while since we've been there on a Saturday, I reckon we could take quite a few. The Gillingham match is the tuesday before so two away games in a week maybe a bit much for those on a tight budget.

Been there the past two seasons (both 7.45pm kick offs) so it will be good to go on Saturday for once. Strange little ground is roots hall.

I went to last night game 2-0 sent us top of the league , that was up there with away game of the season but bristol rovers away was the best !!
If you mean last years game, I went as well and there was a good atmosphere.
