There will be many twists and turns yet, concievably we can still finish up as high as 4th. I still believe there are 3 play-off spots up for grabs.

6 games and 18 points to play for. Personally, I don't think we'll do it but would love to be proved wrong.

Plenty of games left where our rivals can drop points too. Maybe expecting an attacking performance at Southend is a bit premature? ???

not sure - if we draw there we will be 5 points behind them, which is a fair bit to make up at this stage in the season

win and it is down to 2, which is far more concievable, and puts fate much more in our own hands

why we worried so much about southend , the last play off place is the most realistic.

Gillingham's win against Luton last night was good for us as Crewe will have only a one-point cushion going into their game with Southend at Gresty Road on Saturday.

Looking at Forest's remaining fixtures, the very least they'll get is 9 points which puts them out of reach, IMO.

If Southend win at Crewe and avoid defeat against us, I doubt we'd catch them either.

But if things pan out well, we might be only two points point Southend by the time we play them.

And it would be CHAMPION to beat them at their place for once. Particularly so as I shall be in attendance.

Isn't it fun to be talking about these permutations at this stage of the season!! Who'd have thought it? I'll still be satisfied with a top ten finish though, the play-offs would be an unexpected bonus.

:)

Ditto.

I don't want to put a dampner on this but I can just see the knives coming out for Wilkins and the team if we were to lose 2 on the bounce.

Pretty much whatever happens we have had a good season and it has been good following the lads this year :clap:
