we must not lose to on Tuesday, they have got to be the ones we try and overtake, they have to play Carlisle away still.

I can see Roots Hall from the back of mine, and am focussing all my negative waves over there...

Southend also have to play Tranmere. This could be a critical game and a win for either of them could be bad news.

Last day of the season:-
Southend v Port Vale
Albion v Swansea
Northampton v Tranmere

I'm not confident and still think we'll finish eighth.

I don't think we'll be able to take more than a point, so we have to be winning the games against the not-so-gooder teams coming up (Port Vale, Hartlepool, Luton, Bristol Rovers).

was a little bit downhearted when i saw the table and thought its between us tranny and leeds for the last spot

but i did that predictor thing and had us coming in at 6th on 72 points ahead of leeds on 69 and thats with us drawing with southend b rovers and swansea have to win the others.

what gave me hope is that tranny leeds and southend have got tricky games where they play ech other , we only have southend

so its in our hands, we must capitalise when these teams take points off each other

Tuesday is a MASSIVE game for us tho

Another massive game for us, and one which this time we need to go out and win. I think it's important that DW and the boys go out looking for 3 points.
Let's be honest here, draws are not good enough anymore are they? Well not if we want to go up!

I doubt that is the case now.

you'd think so wouldnt you. however, we could still go there and attempt to get a point, and then hope that the other sides tougher run ins will allow us to nip in the back

point at southend will be ok surely ? as long as we beat Vale.

Can see Leeds only getting a point at orient tops + we have a game in hand on tranmere who wont have the bottle again

Leeds have just beaten the 3rd placed team, so I strongly suspect they're more than capable of turning over a team who have lost their last three games and have a GD of -9.

I really don't think a point will be enough at Roots Hall.

If we want to reach the playoffs this season, we have to show our ambition and actually win these big games.

Settling for a draw again, is imo not the way into the playoffs this year.

agree, after last night's results we must WIN at Southend to have a realistic chance and hope that by the time we play Swansea ( if we 're still in it ) on the last day of the season they are already up as Champions and have nothing to play for.

Plenty of games left where our rivals can drop points too. Maybe expecting an attacking performance at Southend is a bit premature? ???

There will be many twists and turns yet, concievably we can still finish up as high as 4th. I still believe there are 3 play-off spots up for grabs.
