Just got back…..****ing hell that last 3 minutes and the post-match singing made the trip a very good one. Twice in a week is just bizarre. Worried about our injury and suspension pile-up, but for now will sink a cold pint and bask in the warm afterglow of their sad (mostly sad, plus a few angry), Stainy faces trooping down the steps as 2500+ belted out Maupay’s song. :D

Got in about 45 mins ago. All of that. ^^

Felt genuinely sorry for Potter in a way as the injuries piled up. You cannot change the way you play at short notice, yet playing out using a defence of Veltman, Duffy and Burn is less than optimal - and it'll probably be worse next week. What was I saying about having an adequate to good strength in depth in defence?

And yet,,,,,,

That's probably my favourite goal this season (as I wasn't at Palace or West Ham). The away end went bananas, bloke behind me hit the deck and, as we were in KK, nearly started an enormous game of dominoes, but **** me the NOISE when we scored and afterwards (and walking to the station to be greeted with the trainless void).

A proper away day. Banter, beer, seeing the team sheet and thinking "oh shit", singing and taking it at face value anyway, a bit of silence after they scored, rallying the troops at the start of the second, despair when Tross went down, more despair when Moder hit that shit free kick at the wall. And then...........................................

A good day out enhanced by 10 minutes of football

All those games over 4 seasons where we felt robbed after being the better team, conceding a late hammer blow eg Burnley at home a couple of years ago, Manure, Benteke’s annual goal.

Now the tables are turned.

We must really p@ss off CP, Wet Spam and Stains supporters.

Southampton have been poor in the second half of games. You can't press the way they do for 90 minutes. Not even the player breaking Klopp or Bielsa can coach high tempo pressing all game successfully.

Me and junior were talking about that after 5 minutes - no way were they going to be able to keep that up. The last 15 was interesting- despite being 1-0 up, they were the ones panicking, CBs hoofing the ball up in the air or downfield to no-one.

That is your original post…same as West Ham.

Only when I pulled you on it did you say ‘I meant in terms of winning’

Your revising your own comments to fit your narrative.

Anyway, I’m off to have some fun thanks to Mr Maupay.

I’ll draw you a picture of what fun looks like.

Some dick-heads like me left at 95 minutes fearing Armageddon at the Rail station after
cancellations etc. It was Armageddon, but the train was so f***** late I could have stayed. ****

Did Stains do something similar when we visited last season?

I have a recollection of us tearing them apart with great passing a few times as the second half wore on.

Could be wrong.

Was the most singing I can remember, even for an away game. Terrible performance (esp first half) but this lot have guts. Solly got us on the front foot and we earned that draw for the last 15 minutes. What a spanking away day.

Have to apologise to Trossard as he got up took a few steps then went down again. I thought ffs we need to get on with this. Too often many players go down far too easy even when their team really need them.

Twitter says Ralph's Saints have dropped 71 points from a winning position.
