Brighton factually.....
Baby brother supports them.........So he can now understand what we went through, Ha Ha Har ! But after ive stopped laughing, you gotta think that just because we get a new stadium everything will be fine and dandy is wrong, and it also shows why DK should be thanked for keeping us alive and steering us away from that kind of trouble.

Slight inaccuracy in the story about them spending £30m FOUR years ago. It was more like eight years ago. That sort of debt obviously wasn't being paid off when they were in the Premiershite and at the Cup Final.

What chance of us paying off our new stadium debt when we are kicking around in the 4th division?

The curse of relegation from the premiershite and their inability to get back where they no doubt they think that they 'deserve' to be has really got them in the the end...they voted for it, to the detriment of English football, so f*** em'

How long before Bolton, Blackburn, Newcastle and other assorted dross start demanding an end to relegation from the 'top' league to protect themselves from the financial mismanagement and inequality in the game today?

Looks like they've gone into admin at last.

According to the news, its the parent company that may have to go into administration, not the football club, so therefore they wouldn't lose 10 points.

The Times business section had a report this morning that the parent company is facing bacnkruptcy and that Southampton are likely to face Adminstration in the near future. Apparently they have exceeded their £4m overdraft and have an outstanding loan of £26m from the £30m loan needed to build St Mary's. Doesnt sound good at all in the current financial climate

A matter of time. If leisure holdaing can not re-finance, which is why they have been suspended, then they and the companies they own will almost certainly go into admin. their only real hope is tha tsomeone either comes in and loans them shit loads of money or offers to take them over, and neither is that likely is it?
