Sorry to post another thread about this. I will be getting the train as my car has died. I understand there are rail problems on the sunday. Does anyone know off hand the time the train leaves Brighton, and subsequently what time it gets to Southampton?

Ive tried getting onto National Rail, but seemily am confused. Also, if there are 4 or more people going is there a discount?

Thank you brains.:)

1st of all you will have to change onto a bus along route (barnham ) ? to saints adding at least 40 mins to the journey,or to avoid this hop a train to clapham and go from there,as for reductions havent a scooby.

Get the 10.51 from Brighton that goes via Clapham. On a 16-25 railcard it's £13.50. You can have great fun with about 15 of us on the train :)

This the way I'm going - with a group of four it works out less than a tenner apiece.

do you have to buy the tickets early, or will they be that price on the day?

National rail says i can leave Brighton at 12.51, straight to Clapham, and then a train to Southampton Ctrl, in 2.43 hours, getting there at 3.34.

Hoping that's right, or I can't make it..?

Pay on the day mate.

That is if we dont sell out before hand. Cant see it though personally. Still even if we do, I'll risk it and sit in the home end and annoy some Scum.:albion2:

No you can get this train ticket on the day. Just roll up Sunday morning and say 4 cheap day returns to Southampton please. You'll get 4 for the price of 2 = half price. Simples. :drink:

Really?

'scuse my ignorance but how'd you go about getting that deal?

See my other post. If u r getting it for £13 with 1/3 off then it will be less than £10 with 50% off. If there is 16 of u going then do 4 groups of 4.
