Would be bloody funny if they miss 2nd and bottle it in the play offs

Klaaturberada, Lallana's not going to be out for long is he?
Dunno yet. Looks like a groin - and Alex Chamberlain left the ground on crutches (although they force everyone to use crutches at the moment until they have assessed it properly). Losing either (or both) will be a major blow for sure.

im not a saints fan or sympathise or feel any special hatred towards them, but providing the reports above on Lallana and Chamberlain arent serious injuries i think they will get 2nd place. They do have a good, yet expensive, squad who should just about get over the line infront of a struggling Huddersfield without their best player

I never like to see any club lose their best players through injury, irrespective of any rivalry. I hope both Lallana and Chamberlain get better soon. I don't want it to be said that we beat an understrengh SCC team.

I have a gut feeling we'll win promotion on the last night game at Withdean against D&R :ascarf::ascarf::ascarf:

( given I now have tickets for both my young sons I really hope so ! )

Me too as I can't go to the Saints game. I would really have loved it to be against Saints, but as I can't go I want that to be a non-event now!

My prediction at the very begining of the season was 'the team that finishes above Southampton will win the league' looks like it will be correct as they still have games in hand on most teams but will not catch us.

if we beat swindon and dagenham in next two games we will look back and see that 83 points was enough to secure automatic promotion!

really hard to call, but I think MKDons could be a draw, Charlton home win, Orient draw or home win. I would guess 5 points from 3 games? maybe more

Think they will get a minimum of 7 points from those games 2 wins and a draw, but they will probably get 3 wins.

I agree they could well win all 3, depends on whether they can take the pressure. My prediction was what I think is the best we can hope for, but I would love them to lose all 3

I don't think Southamptons results will in any way change Brighton's chances of automatic promotion. It is surely already a nailed on certainty. The chances of Brighton finishing anywhere other than top are virtually nil. The chances of Brighton finishing outside of the top two are too miniscule to even contemplate. None of the top six will win all their remaining games IMHO. Take last night - Southampton had a perfectly good goal chalked off with the score at 1-1 and time virtually up. Officials make mistakes as well as players, and you cannot legislate for that.

I think you lot easily have sewn up the title now. We'd won 4 in a row until last night so we're on form. We have two games in hand on Hudders' too. We should be able to finish 2nd.

Gosh, four wins on the trot, we're barely keeping up with you...

Absolutely right. We are so far ahead that it doesn't matter now what Southampton(or huddersfield or Peterbrough) do. I hope that doesn't come across as arrogance it's just trying to look at it objectively. If we can win our next two games then we probably won't need to win again this season-just a handful of draws would be enough to gain promotion.
