Grab the point, avoid the banana skin and move onto *checks notes* Fulham?

I've just checked to see which Palace fans have clicked 'take a point' and am shocked to see you have.

Is it possible we lose? Of course, but if we're dreaming of another European tour (and we are) then we're going to need to win games like this to make it. Taking a point (were such a hypothetical thing be possible) would be really, really stupid (sorry).

It’s a classic shock away win, so in a way yes,

But can’t help thinking/hoping we are in “different times”. Mr H saying of Mr Veltman “he knows how to win games……

I'm only mucking about, having some light-hearted fun to kill time before I head over to the Amex.

I sincerely hope I'll have no need for a "one point gained or two points dropped?" poll tonight!

Southampton 4 points, 10 loses out of 12 games.

We've read this book many, many, many times and know it ends in albion defeat.

So to snatch a draw from certain defeat... of course I'd take it now.

When I read this I thought some Palace fan had started the thread. But no, it's Mr Bozza himself.
I'll say it, 'we must beat teams like Southampton'. That's not to say they should not be in the EPL, they've earnt that right. Nor to say they are a little club, they are like us, a mid table club never destined to win anything (OK with the odd exception). But today, as of this moment, they are going through a bad patch and we have to make the most of the opportunity, just as other teams have done to us in the past.
