Yer i agree. Elphick is my favourite player yet i rate Lynch as possibly our best.

I often see Michel at falmer. Such a legend!

Yer Elphick is the one player that seems to wear his heart on his sleeve. He is first one out the tunnel and is always looking to the crowd, probably why he is so popular.
I agree though, he lacks the all round game of Lynch. He is a solid defender but Lynch is much better on the ball and going forward. Lynch also seems to be more of a threat at set pieces seeing as he seems to score so often now in reserves...

I don't know how reliable the probable line up is on the seagulls website is, but it has Lynch Hawkins at centre back, with Thomson replacing Loft in the middle.
