Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Have a laugh tomorrow, start Cox in goal, have Kuipers in defence, with Big Guy upfront. That will really confuse the opposition if they've done any scouting :whisky::lolol:

Don't forgot that we've got to shout "tackle" any time their players are running at ours!

My advice would be to go for the new team talk approach:

"You are the finest heroes of the fortress of Withdean, you must seek what we followers believe is glory. It is your duty to give these sufferers their right to be entertained sprinkled with trophies and champagne! You are the chosen ones, so remember this day forever as it may be your last.... but in memory of your first. Butters!, your starting. Harty!, warm yourself up, McFaul!, pull your shorts up.
Oh yeah boys!...........Remember, 1 point's better than none!".

Could I also remind people in D block to maintain their historical interpretation of the offside rule.

Remember ... it's HARTLEpool we're up against, not LIVERpool. Tell the squad to ignore what they've seen on Match of the Day - it's not relevant and it's not necessary to stand two defenders on the goal line just in case Steven Gerrard has a shot from 30 yards out.

a) Don't do that crapola thing of attacking H Block end in the first half. Attack H Block end in the second half. Might just spur you on, cos you'll no doubt be chasing a defecit.
.

Dont listen to THPP ,attack the family stand end in the second half - thats where the fans really get behind the side.

Dust yer boots off and play yourself at left back.

That would be a waste of time as he was not reknowned for his tackling in fact the exact opposite.

He could use Chapman who could tackle but couldnt run as opposed to his right back Crumplin who could run but couldnt tackle.

With 15 mins gone, think it's fair to assume he hasn't read this thread.

Still, we're not a goal down....yet.
