Sorry to hear that Dave.

My mother died of Cancer at the age of 48 and I miss her like crazy. Its a very hard thing to come to terms with.

She is buried in Brighton and therefore my link with the old city (other than the Albion).

Be sure and give your wife a big hug tonight. She will need it.

I would dread to think what it would be like to lose someone very close,so keep giving the other half lots of cuds and she will feel a bit better A dave.

Thanks for all your messages yesterday folks

As you suggested, I gave the wife lots of hugs last night ( we also went out for a meal) and she told me the funeral was very emotional and the Crematorium was packed to the rafters with over 250 people there inside and out.

Life does go on and the family are going away in a couple of days for a week.
