I know a lot of us are sick of this subject but after every player (on the pitch) giving heart, soul and lungs for us yesterday and the best support from a crowd I've ever known - which ffs makes a difference to the players... 'supporters' were leaving 5 and even 1 bloody minute from the end. Just a personal opinion of course but I felt and still feel I would rather not a single one of them ever comes back into the ground. Still running on adrenalin after yesterday I'm sure but come on   Sure I'll be crucified for this but right now I really don't care. So proud of the team and support and especially the way we stuck to playing our football instead of just parking the bus btw :albion2: :guitar:

It was something utterly spontaneous and genuinely uplifting to be part of that second half crowd yesterday. Confirmed that there's far more important things to the Albion community than mere winning or losing. Maybe something DID change yesterday. Maybe the Amex came of age. Feels like club spirit.

Anyone know why this board attracts so many obnoxious away fans...if you don't like us jevs, why don't you f*** off and post that on a west ham board....I am sure they would love to read that.

Aww bless. Nothing to with not liking you. All to do with the fact that you had 2 players sent off, lost the game and keep whining about it. Get over it, it seems like you're the only team in history to be dealt a bad hand by the ref. Move on.

its called "little man" syndrome!
I know quite a lot of West Ham fans and I've got a lot of time for them - there are always exceptions though - "breastfed" here being blatantly one of them!

I had to leave early to make sure I got the 1st train to Lewes to do "Christmas" a week early with the in laws as we're off out of the country. I made the choice to go to the game and miss the last 2 minutes rather than not go at all. As a s/t holder who has been away 6 times this season, do you think I give a flying fu@k that you don't want me back in the future.

You really are a total prick.

I don't go on other teams boards as I don't care about any other teams but I assume they must be crap the number of non Albion fans we get on here. Either that or they are secretly Albion fans and this is their way of expressing it.

I'd rather've been there yesterday than dozens of wins I can barely remember (if at all). It was absolutely gutting but somehow didn't feel like a loss. I was in a fantastic crowd, watching a fantastic team play some f.ing great and f.ing brave football. We'll be talking about it for a long time - whatever happens to us in the next few years, so  yerself. Seasons greetings  :albion2:

I would have a certain amount of sympathy with your view point IF CMS had scored. That would have been something worthy of note and discussion. This was not The Cup Final, Hereford away, Cullips header against cheaterfield, Virgo's goal in the last min against Swindon, the play off final, Bridcutts equaliser against carlise or the winner against the daggers last year and for the benefit of Jevs Guy Butters last minute winner at Upton park!!!

There are two points of note - a great effort from the team and perhaps a coming together of the fans in our new home. Only made by the sense of injustice that we percieved at the time. The ref was inconsistent - but he was right to send vincelot off - I saw him punch the bloke with my own eyes and the moment the ref was informed he was always going to be sent off. Barnes sending off looked harsh at the time - but i think was justified having seen it on telly. Granted the ref should have sent the burnley player off for his part in the tackle and the reaction to it. That was a mistake.

No one will talk about this game at the end of the season - it will be inked into the results as Brighton 0 Burnely 1

It was a great atmosphere a great game a great effort - but it is not worthy of mentioning to your children let alone your granchildren IMO.

Jevs is correct get over it move on.

Can't disagree with a lot of that and as I said, still probably on adrenaline from yesterday but I would say 'coming together of the fans in our new home' is not only a massive understatement but also could be hugely significant - we've not been the noisiest or most supportive crowd recently (compared with earlier this year) and if we can carry yesterday's atmosphere through the next few games it could make a real difference to the season. I've no doubt it lifted the players and lets face it, most of them could've done with their confidence lifting recently? It's not all about one result on a day for me, there's a bigger picture - I remember great days too - the play off final was a great day out for one but it didn't lead to many more did it? I may be an optimist but it feels like something lasting might just be being built here and I'll take a 9 man, 1.0 loss like that if it's part of the learning curve. Respect to you anyway, although I won't be moving on yet - just havin a beer  :albion2:

Yesterday was brilliant and I agree with your views on the match and crowd. I left dead on 90 mins to get out of the car park. I didnt want to but Id left at home a 2 month old baby with a sick GF - I shouldnt really have gone to the game. As supporter since 1987, done all League Grounds bar 10, and went to Gillingham, I hope you can see to putting in some clause for me, ta.
