Albion hero Adam Virgo is almost certain to play at Kerry Mayo's Testimonial on Saturday.
Virgo, goalscoring star of the play-off campaign in 2004 and Championship survival a year later, has been given clearance to appear in the Legends match ahead of Albion's friendly with Reading.
All that stands in his way now is booking a flight back from Scotland.
