Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail

The last time I saw him play was when he secured all 3 points for Torquay. I have never seen such a resolute display of professionalism from an ageing, Welsh fatty as I did that day. He was immense. I remember he took an eternity getting the ball back into play when Williams had put them in front from a Bedeau cross. He is a legend

second league game at Withdean if i remember correctly, bit of a barney during the game aswell (saying that most of the games i remember from that first season we managed to have a barney in - the best had to be Aspinall and Oatway taking on the whole Carlisle squad by themselves last game of the season)

I think there was a red card almost every single game for a whole season! Those were great days!
