Bloody lovely

Make sure you do a day trip to Capri

:clap2: :clap2:

Capri is great. Expect to wait a long time at the harbour in order to find a bus. You could get a private taxi...get a price first, bit more expensive but a good one can act like your own tour guide!

One of my favourite area, just great. The food was excellent too! Be sure to go (early in the day) to Capri, and do go to the great sites, of Amalfi, Naples, Pompei and Herculaniam.

I thought that Herculaniam was better than Pompei. But make your own mind up, both are very interesting.

Have a great time.

I've been with my ex - beautiful place. Lots of narrow streets with little shops etc.

Some of Rambo was filmed on Capri, (you will see why). There is also an ice cream shop there called 'The Seagull' :clap2:

There is a beach side restuarant near Almalfi - it's a stunning drive there (Italian job style road to it). Without sounding like a sap, it's the kinda place where you'd propose. Take your bird for a romantic meal there.

I've been and it's great...I also thought Herculanium was better than Pompei but both are worth a visit in their own right, there's loads of other interesting trips to take too, like Capri and along the Amalfi coastline, Sorrento's got a lot going for it in it's own right though.

Be aware though that the coastline in that area is rocky so not really suitable for swimming.

The ice cream is superb and there's loads of lovely bars to sit and people watch :D

Try to visit Vesuvius also, a long climb but worth it. Mind you, it was 41 degrees when I did it. Naples is a cracking city to visit. Get the circumvesuviana train right along the bay from Sorrento to Naples.

If you require footie action, Salernitana is a few miles from Sorrento, play in Serie B.

Worth having a nose around Positano and Ravello too.
