[Technology] Sonos help - now possibly the most annoying app ever

Does it allow me to ask Google Assistant to play BBC radio on my Sonos speakers? I was staggered to find that between them - Google, BBC and Sonos haven't made this work, instead have to use the clunky Sonos app.

Ah, sorry, that I don’t know. Anyone?

its funny that the original S1 app which i still use for a first gen play 5 in the garage works so much better than the latest app . I tend to use the windows controller as like youve said the latest app is shit (even after the update)

Same. Use the first gen app as got a Sonos amp I use to pipe into my hifi. Still Works a treat.

I had to amend my Wifi due to changing supplier and being given new Nodes. To get my Play1 and 3s working it needed a hard reset on all SONOS products and then re-add each one manually. Lost all configuration.

I'm embarrassed for SONOS at how bad the APP is.

Don't get me started on the APP volume control...
