Oleta Adams, Get Here If You Can. "You can reach me by ....."

Right, now lets be fair here, the premise of the song was a fairly dull repetition of all the methods of transport that you could use to get to Oleta, and inevitably the well with be running a bit dry by the end of the song for rhyming methods of transport, but when first up you deliver you best, and thats "railway" and "trailway" then FFS, give up the ghost at that point. If you can't even start with a decent rhyming pair then, it certainly hasn't got anything like the legs for a whole song.

I know EXACTLY what you mean there. I've had a number of songs I've liked, from bands I've liked turn me into a raging menace after I've had them played to death day after day after day. Actually, it's usually worse than that, it's more like hearing it every hour, rather than every day.
