Vicente Rodríguez - Song

Not normally one for suggesting songs and that (a bit too old on the tooth for all that) but me and mate were in Ibiza when we heard the news and started singing:

'He came from sunny sunny Spain
Vi cen te Rodríguez'

To the tune of Viva Espana you know the one

'We're off to sunny sunny Spain
Viva La Espana'

Come on its a winner isn't it? Nice and simple and can be repeated over and over so it doesn't fade out and good to have a bit of cheese:thumbsup:

Like a lot. Could do with something that ends the chorus though. The bit that goes "Espana por favor".

Like in the original thread you mean where there are a few different versions.

Isn't it a bit contradictory to say you are too old to make up football songs but go on holiday to Ibiza

Have never seen the original thread and I'm not inclined to trawl through pages to see if there is something similar when Im replying.

He came from sunny, sunny Spain,
Be-then-tay Rodriguez,

He’s part of Gus’s bigger plan,
Be-then-tay Rodriguez,

His feet are quick like a matador,
Be-then-tay Rodriguez

And you know he’s gonna score,
Espana por favour.

Will that do? Crack out the stuffed donkeys and sombreros!

OK fair play, hadn't seen the previous suggestions just thought it fitted well.

Holiday in Ibiza was with three families with kids in luxury villa, its not just about the kids in San Antonio you know !!!
