Who's that Uruguayan ego?
The man who we all used to adore.
Gus Poyet is his name.
And it really is a shame.
It's not the ceiling we showed you, its the door!

I gots no beef with Gus but this flows better

Who's that Uruguayan ego?
The man that we once adored.
Gus Poyet is his name.
And it really is a shame.
It's not the ceiling we showed you, its the door!

How about?

Who's that Uruguayan ego?
The man that we once adored.
Gus Poyet is his name.
And has got himself to blame.
For being an utter w@nker tw@t publicity seeking whore.

Not sure the last line scans but you get the drift.

Yes! Another song thread! I'm well good at songs so here you go.

To the tune of dancing on the ceiling by Chris Kamara.

Woooaaw what a feelliiing
Gus asked, have we've hit the ceiling?
But we haven't hit the ceiling
We're just dancing on the ceiling

THOUGHS?

My favourite.

I was thinking something along the lines of:

Your shit - is in the dressing room*
Your shit - is in the dressing room ....ad infinitum.

Or:

Woooooooh.....your shit.....is still there*....aaarrrggggh...

There's a theme developing.

*for satirical purposes only. Any inference that it was anyone other than the Palace coach driver who curled out a newborn Palace fan on the dressing room floor is unintentional.

...and please, please....just for one game can we change that 'Stand or Fall' banner to read 'okay mate'?

How cool would that be, eh?

Whatever fantastic song I come up with. We'll be 1-0 up in the first half and start singing "You should have stayed at a big club!" then people will snigger. Then were loose.

I was thinking of "Who's sorry now?"

"Who's Sorry Now"

Who's sorry now
Who's sorry now
Who's heart is aching for breaking each vow
Who's sad and blue
Who's crying too
Just like we cried over you

Right to the end
Just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way
Now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now

Right to the end
Just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way
Now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now

What an abomination of a thread. We haven't beaten Hull yet and there are people wanting to hurl abuse at a person who is at least in part à key part of our rise to where we are today. Quite toe curling really

This about a million times. I find the bile directed at Gus ridiculous - nobody (apart from B.W, of course) knows what happened. Plus there is the small matter of the Premier League team we need to beat first.

Ok, if we are going to sink to those depths I would like to suggest "Pooh are ya" repeat forever.

Why the **** are some people thinking about the return of Gus,we still have to play Hull City and the last time we got excited Palace put us in our place, let's just get through tomorrow and then think about Sunderland.

Agree. Let's not talk of this for another 9 hours - and then we quite possibly won't need to talk about it at all.

Actually, one saving grace if we lose, is to watch all the Gus threads fall off NSC for a bit.

Yes, some will.

I think we'll have to play to our top ability to have any chance of beating Hull tonight.
