A couple of tweaks:

He comes from Spain and his name is Cucurella
He's got curly hair and he loves to eat paella
He plays on the left for the Albion, what a fella
Heyyyyy Cucurella...!

Extra syllables should mean maximum speeding up.

Still amazes me that posters can’t grasp syllables and basic songs

The ending of his name sounds like -eyya, so probably better to have "what a player" in the third line.

to the tune of Hey Mr Christmas by Showaddywaddy (it won't catch on, but i tried)

Hey, Cucurella
We hope you'll score for fun
Hey, Cucurella
Cucurella, here he comes

Forget that you played for Getafe
And make the Amex bright
Croud is singin', bells are ringin'
Cucurella he’s alright

Forget their midfield and defenders
And leave them on the floor
Don't look back, go ahead
We'll just play some more, more, more, more

Hey, Cucurella
We hope you'll score for fun
Hey, Cucurella
Cucurella, here he comes

Old folk sing in the north stand
Children sing along if they know
They've been waitin', anticipatin'
To see Cucurella go

Forget their midfield and defenders
And leave them on the floor
Don't look back, go ahead
We'll just play some more, more, more, more

Hey, Cucurella
We hope you'll have some fun
Hey, Cucurella
Cucurella, here he comes

Think it'll take me until the start of 22/23 to remember all that!

In that case.....

Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it
Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it
Shake it like a left back of winger!
Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it
Shake it, shake it, shake it,
Shake it like a left back or winger

Cucu-rella (marco) cucu-rella!(oh, oh)
Cucu-rella (marco) cucu-rella!(oh, oh)
Cucu-rella (marco) cucu-rella!(oh, oh)

Newmarket.
To "She's electric"

Marc Cucurella
He's got a head of hair like an umbrella.
So he's not scared of the weather.
We hope he's not sheeeeiiite.

Love it. Not good on Spanish but understand now that both “paella” and “Cucurella” rhyme very well with player rather than fella....

All we need now is for the North Stand (and/or 3,000 Albion fans at an away game) to synchronise singing it with doing the dance routine.
