I did get your point the first time, you can’t stand AC, but I was trying to keep this light .

Personally I like AC, a troubled soul who suffers from depression, at times suicidal and he’s has opened up about that. A political bully and it’s his way or the highway, but that’s common in politics.

Whoever the so called ‘Old School Brighton’ poster is, I have an idea he probably saw this thread before posting on theirs.
I very much doubt he woke up this morning and thought, oh what a lovely day to join the Burnley forum and slag off NSC

He suffers from dark periods where he sees no point to life. That’s painful for anyone. He regrets alcoholism (not good with the depression) when he was a newspaper journalist.

I don’t agree with some of his politics, but I feel empathy with the person.

Some places in Burnley suffer from social deprivation, the same as Brighton.
Some of their fans have views best left in the 1970’s, the same as Brighton
Some on their message board are ultra defensive of anyone who criticises their town, the same as Brighton.

I lived 40 years in the North West, ran many businesses there, vast majority of people are warm, welcoming and engaging, same as Brighton.
