If they phase out the classic, they better introduce touches with 120gb memory.

The music on my ipod video (30gb memory) takes up 26gb (that's after removing cd tracks I usually skip). Now lots of new films are being released with digital versions, but each film takes up at least 1gb. I am anticipating a 120gb ipod classic for my birthday this year, so that I can take several films with me.

That said, expect a 64gb to be introduced too I reckon.

Main news was...

- Nano now has camera, microphone, speaker, FM radio, pedometer and voice recorder.
- Touch has better prices and new capacity. 64gb is at the £299 price point. Faster too.
- Classic goes to 160gb for the same price as the previous 120gb.
- some iTunes stuff.

Bozza, you seem to be up to date the apple technology. That iPad looks a nifty bit of technology, has there been any clue as to how much that'll cost, once released?

Apparently Apple have been having problems with the new version of the iPod Touch (rumoured to contain a camera) which is why they weren't released today at this event.

I'm disappointed the Touch doesn't have a camera. I reckon Apple think it will place it too close to the iPhone, as it is currently, and cannibalise sales potentially.

That said, there have been rumours that some of the iPod camera stuff in development has had manufacturing problems, so it could be it's just been delayed. It would seem strange though - I'd have thought rolling a camera into the Touch would be easy for them.

Apple product comes at a premium price, so I'd place it somewhere between the price of top-end netbooks from other manufacturers and Apple's entry level Macbook.

And as they like £x99 price points, I hope it will come in at £499 and not £599. £399 would be nice, but I can't see it.

Oh right. Many thanks. If it's £499 I may think about buying it. But if it's anymore, I'll wait until it's gone down in price a bit.
