I think it is right to point out UKIP's very right wing other policies.
but in truth they are a one policy party exiting the EU
and many on the left including me share that policy
how to tackle UKIP ?
have an in out referendum and they will fade into history
Which is what Call Me Dave is offering and Mr Bean isn't - a tough one eh?
well as I said I am from the left and there is more than one reason to vote
i feel quite ill putting my x against labour because they are far too much
like the Tories for me .put my x for a Tory and I might spontaneously combust!
in the euro elections I will be voting green they too want an in out referendum.
well there was a global financial crisis in 2008 when failure to be able to cash in financial derivative products in the USAI don't feel Labour are like the Tories, I just feel like Labour are a bunch of wimps who rolled over when in power, and didn't care for this country.
Labour like to tell us all what to do and treat us like little Children. They started this rot which coincided with the crash and ever since this country has never been the same, It's why I will never vote for them again. My whole family where Labour voters. UKIP will get my vote from now on, unless things change. They need to stop blaming everyone else, and admit and accept that what they did has buggered up this country. Stop painting the Tories as only caring for the rich and look on their own people. These are old Labour arguments that used to win them elections, that's now changed and it's time to get with the programme.

brought down lehmans bank and without worldwide government bailouts would have brought down many more.
personally I didn't support financial deregulation this is exactly the type of issue where I see labour
as no different than the Tories.Financial deregulation was a Tory idea which labour followed.
But I would not blame the Tories for the global financial crisis let alone labour it was not them
which ran a financial casino which took more bets than it could cover. but the belief( for that is what it is)
that unregulated markets would work in the interest of the majority was the mantra of thatcher and Reagan
which mr Blair bought into I never once voted for that Tory in disguise
You are being far to simplistic here, you forgot to mention the most common factor regarding Tea Party members, they are mostly christian and super uber religious, their agenda on gay marriage and abortion are based purely on religious grounds, their views on climate change are tainted by their views(rightly or wrongly) that the resulting laws involve too much government involvement.....which they hate, and as for anti immigration i thought they were against illegal immigration not anti immigration and for a massive crackdown on communities where illegal immigration had been allowed to flourish(notably the mexicans) not against immigration per say.UKIP has about as much in common with The Tea Party as Milliband does with Scargill.UKIP are the equivalent of the Tea Party in the USA. They appeal to a demographic that contains some/ all of being older, socially conservative (anti immigration, gay marriage, abortion, climate change etc) and poorly educated. These people are more easily swayed by a demonisation agenda and are entitled to vote UKIP because the alternatives from the mainstream parties aren't attractive to them.
Bash knows the score...I agree with him.I find it amazing the constant piss taking, name calling that people have had to put up with because they support UKIP. I repeat, I wish people would look at the bigger picture, and see what is really happening in the EU, not just the economy but also the issues around illegal immigration. What is happening here will effect us all eventually. Why is the EU not doing more to stop these people leaving their countries, work with these countries outside the EU to control the borders. The EU gets paid enough money in membership fees don't they, and where is the hundreds of millions we send in foreign aid every year going.
Laugh and name call all you like, but what UKIP says make sense. The door is open to hundreds of millions of people. Look at the stories below. You have to feel sorry for these people, but the EU can't keep going on like this, we can't keep going on like this, especially if the end result is more and more people come here.

Have you seen the size of the border? Of course the door is open.
It's not like the States where you have Canada to the north and one heavily guarded border with Mexico to the south.
It's not like Australia where they are many miles from anyone.
Getting all hoity toity with the EU won't change a thing when it comes to poor people searching for work crossing borders. They're not coming for the benefits. They're coming for work.
I've seen our border , how many illegals turned up in a ramshackle boat on ours ? It'd be the only way in if we policed our borders properly.
They're not coming for the benefits. They're coming for work.

There are also a lot of "hard truths" for supporters of the Conservatives, Labour, and Liberal Democrats to digest. That's politics.
Have you considered the fact that there are actually no jobs in Southern Europe for these people to go to in the first place, and most people end up being even poorer. Tell me what is the correct way here, making sure they don't come here, or dangling a golden carrot only to be let down. Making sure they don't come here, that is far more sensible in the current situation. There are not enough jobs, homes and resources in the EU to take everyone.
You need to get hoity toity about the EU, because at the end of the day they are the ones responsible for driving immigration. They are the ones who have the power and the money to work with countries outside the EU to stop these people making these dangerous journeys. Obviously we are not at the stage yet where we have people knocking on our doors asking for money, because that is the reality of the situation in some parts of the EU.
