Solly ?

Brighton Mod

Its All Too Beautiful
I've been impressed with this. He looks slight, but has beaten opponents a good few times by either sheer body strength, or by shielding a running ball with his body. He's also done some robust defensive work.
Looks very skilful, has some pace but is not lightning quick, has a good shot, just needs a bit more vision and composure with his passing, and needs to impose himself a little more on the game. Hopefully these last two will come with experience.

Just this, with growing confidence he will be a great asset, scoring many goals!

Good, a bit left footed only for crossing/shooting so predictably cuts inside every time when he is on the right, but he has plenty of time to sort that. He will be a very good player in a year or two.
A great side effect of Solly and Ince coming through is the hope it gives to all the other development lads.

He is like having a new signing minus the £££££££s spent on signing a player of his ability , refreshing to watch not scared to shoot and seems very strong on the ball for a lad of slight build , looking forward to seeing his career develop with Brighton .

He's one of those players that creates a buzz of excitement every time he runs with the ball.

As he gets more experienced and his decision making and final ball improve he'll become an essential cog in the machine

He's a good player with the potential to be a great player, He could do with learning to use his right foot a bit more but hopefully that will come with time.

Think the 'Sully' (Peter O'Sullivan) song from the 70's and 80's could be resurrected.

to Gracie Fields - Sally

Jesus Christ, could the North Stand really hit those high notes?

What about resurrecting the Nicky Rust song to the tune of Feeling Hot?

Ole, ole.
Ole, ole, Solly March March March.

The only comparison I have is to Noone but I think Solly looks stronger and has a better cross. Either way, he will be a huge player for us next season

Looks very much like noone although think noone went at the players a bit more which I think solly will do more and more .

For a small guy his strength is good because he has such a low centre of gravity, he uses his body well to shield the ball if he has to. He's very much in the Noone mould rather than Buckley or Kaz - doesn't have lightning pace but his ball control is superb, twisting and turning in tight spaces to find room to break into, rather than running directly at a full back. With a few more games and experience his composure in the final third should develop, as he's put in a couple of superb crosses, but then shanked a couple out of play too - perhaps just a little excitable as it's still early days in his career. Overall he's a fantastic prospect - it'll be interesting to see how he does when he drops out of the XI again - which he will when Buckley/Kaz are both back fit - may bring him back to earth and be good for him in the long run as he'll have to work even harder to get back in again, it'll make him a better player.

He is 5ft 11...hardly a small guy!!!

I thought Kaz could hit the ball hardest for us, but there's a Leeds player who'd disagree.
