Would be good to see if Courtney Richards could step up to the plate as well as he has looked very impressive in the development squad.

The lad has great skill and has a sweet left foot. He is very attacking and direct and always wants to beat his man down the wing, bit like Kaz, and can come inside and shoot, just like Kaz.

Only criticism is he needs to get the ball in the box quicker instead of mugging the defender off 4, 5, 6 times then getting it in the box.

We have a gem in him and the future is looking bright. Hope he starts Tuesday night.

Great prospect - like the way he is not afraid to take his man on. Scares defenders and gives them something else to worry about.

To which you can add Christian Walton, Tom Dallison, Glen Rea, Emil Asmundsson and Jesse Starkey from the current Devt Squad + Dickenson, Maksimenko and Goodwin all out on loan to league clubs until the end of the season. They may not all come through to the right level but there's plenty of potential there.

How could I have forgotten! I can see Walton making the step up next season, what with all three keepers out of contract and no certainty as to who is staying.
