Just seen this, hope it's not related to that **** Choudary being in the news yesterday. Hope the victim recovers ok.
Mental health related possible, 'not terror related'. We always seem to wonder about this....

Brighton factually.....
Thoughts are obviously with the victim and family.

But let's be honest here, anyone who kills, attempts to kill, maim or injure in the name of religion has mental health issues.
We all know the excuse and we all know the reasons why it is used, it is to stop a backlash.

As I posted in another thread.

My son is currently based at Brompton Barracks, the whole place went into lockdown for 24 hours after the attack. He believes the injured soldier was an officer although his name has yet to be released. It's likely his military training saved his life, that nutter attacked him from behind with two kitchen knives while he was walking home after a day at work. What sort of country are we living in when a member of the armed forces cannot walk down the street in uniform without being attacked.
Anyone who thinks this isn't terror related is being very naive.

While I agree with 99% of your post, is it naïveté or caution?

I personally don’t jump to any conclusions until all the facts are known and corroborated.

Is that because deep down, many of us are just a little bit racist?

Present company excluded, obviously!
Yes.

Nice to see you back! You need a nice user pic. Here's a suggestion:

I have been dropping in, now and again, just to see what's going on in the BHA world.

Seeing this post, which is quite close to home, as it is for you, made me curious!

Yep, Citizen Smith - that's where I got my nickname from - I was Wolfie to all my mates, bar one, who liked to call me "Foxy", just like Florence, Wolfie's girlfriend's dappy mum!
