Dear Meridian TV,

After watching todays Soccer Sunday..I was not suprised to find yet AGAIN you have let down Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club and its fans. No mention AT ALL of the sit in, or the problems that could sink this club within the next few hours.

An organised sit in with the players/supports/directors and chairman not even given a mention. Surly saving the club is more important than showing to goals. Had it been Porthsmouth or Southhampton no doubt there would have been plenty to say...but then again we are a 'provenical' football club arnt we?

Your program is a total disgrace, it failed to given even one second of air time to an issue that has had almost EVERY league club helping to support us with. Total disgrace...

Just sent this..............

I am truly appalled by the absolute lack of coverage given on Soccer Sunday, to the twenty minuite sit down protest at Wycombe, post match by Brighton & Hove Albion Fans.

Our present situation is well known to all areas of the media, with good local coverage from Southern Counties Radio, upto national coverage on Radio 5 Live and the broadsheets.

At the time of writing I am also listening to the local politics show presented by yourselves. Again no notice, or introduction of our plight and how the descision is with the Deputy PM.

I hope there will be some redress in the main bulletin on Mondays main bulliten.

Yours faithfully
Paul Bramhall

I'll waiting to pass judgement until the news on Monday.

Highlights programmes always tend to skirt around political issues.

This needs to be seen as more of a news story rather than a just a small sports story.

Must admit it was a bit strange not even to get a mention.

Dear Sir

having just watched Meridian Soccer I was very disappointed to find absolutely no coverage of the Brighton fans action in support of the planning application for Falmer.
Are Meridian aware that Brighton and Hove Albion have received a set back regarding this application in the last week and that supporters who care fervently about our club are trying to raise as much publicity as possible? If you didn't want to show the sit in at the end then surely a few shots of the banners and posters interspersed with eh action would have been appropriate.
Whereas I realise that Meridian TV are not there simply as a PR vehicle for us I would have thought that this was an issue that affects and interests a great many of your viewers and therefore one that deserves coverage.
Perhaps you deemed it inappropriate to include in a football highlights programme, if this is the case could you please let me know if you do plan to cover the item in another programme.
