Made the effort, defrosted my car, went 5 mins up the road when the boss told me to go home again. Been back at work for three days now, but have yet to reach my workplace.

Not wanting to sit on a train or station for hours this morning and again tonight I have taken the choice of working from home and will give it another go tomorrow

Not even snowing here. The bad weather seems to have bypassed CZ. In fact, seems a lot better than last winter.

I'm waiting to see if the 12 bus starts running to Brighton from Peacehaven. They did start around 7ish but apparently buses have got stuck on the route.

me. closed the whole place down on tuesday, will go back on monday. we haven't been gritted and there is no traction for any of the drivers to hitch their trailers so pointless even trying.

I went to work as usual on wednesday but was asked not to come in today and so I have saved myself a nervous 32 mile round trip. I'm back in friday so I hope it gets a bit better quickly

Day off but have to venture out this afternoon to do the weekly shop at Asda. Today I will try to avoid the sheet ice on the pavement where I fell over onto my back yesterday after finishing work. The last time I took a tumble like that was more than 20 years ago and now my back is giving me gip.

Worked from home yesterday but got into the office this morning and it took about 1hr 40, which is about twice as long as normal.

How soon is now?
Sadly my boss only lives around the corner from me, and if we had to we could walk in, so I have no excuse.
I was due at The Pricess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath for an operation at 7.30 this morning, but thats had to be cancelled as I just couldn't get there safely. I quite like it when it snows, but the aftermath is a nightmare
