The free state of Kemp Town
croatia- they came to play (and win), even though they had already got through.

a nice red/white check on their home strip, too.

And their away strip, or have you already forgotten last night? Wish I could

...another vote for Spain, it is true that they usually bottle it in tournament finals but I reckon this could be the one that they manage to get it together.

...on second thoughts, given the number of Poles now living in the UK, there would be a really good atmosphere if they did well...now where did I put that red and white flag...

Like others on here, I have a soft spot - for pretty much the same reasons already stated - for the Netherlands. Having spent one competition (France 98) there, and seeing how bloody up for it they are, I love 'em to pieces. And when they arse it up, they do it in style.

If anyone?

Personally I'm going to back the Czechs because I quite like Prague and have no particular animosity towards their nation and they don't have a bad team either.

Euro 2008 will be mostly background wallpaper now. But, yeah, good call, Prague is a good place to have a good time, and met some good people there, so, yeah, wish them well. Croatia also. nothing directly to do with England, but - jeez! - having already won the group, they didn't half keep going for the jugular. That manager will work wonders, wherever he chooses to manage. f***ing impressive.
