Jesus Christ why are we even entertaining the ideas of these players who are well past there prime, I don't want us to be stoke city when they were in the premier league. Remember when they signed peter crouch. and yes he was only 26. Were looking at players in there early to mid 30's. Has Lallana played 90 mins yet.
Yeah, what's Lallana done, eh?

(Checks notes...)

Oh. Right. The cheeky first time touch to Gross, who then laid on the assist for Joao Pedro that got us the winner against Marseille and had us topping the group.

Absolute shitehouse. :lolol:

Imagine someone who can actually play like that, but also make more then 10 appearances a season for more then 45 mins.

How do you get that B in gros?, and yes, Because lallana and milner were never going to compete in terms of fitness
But they aren't necessarily here for their fitness, they are here for their experience on and off the pitch. There have been loads of games where Lallana has gone off and we've lost or composure and organisation on the pitch, or equally he's come on late and helped ensure a draw or win. We could do with two of him really so we can bring another player of his type on.

We've got some great young players, we've got Dunk and Gross who are the engine room of the squad then we've got players like Lallana and Veltman who come with tremendous amounts of experience, have won things, gone deep in European competition, what we are doing isn't new to them like it is the rest of the squad. You need a balance in the squad and we have that. Another more experienced head isn't going to hurt especially if Adam Lallana retires at the end of the season.

Here's a little extrapolation just for fun.

34;
Out of contract this summer and was able to discuss pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs from January;
Noted Anglophile. Speaks English, but has never played in the EPL;
Can play multiple positions;
Was rumoured to have been offered to EPL clubs on a free back in October;
So keen to play with Pascal that he's come out of international retirement.
Got it.............Beckenbauer

if you are on an iPad or iPhone hold down the “s” and other options are aoffered including the German double S. you can add accents and umlauts this way by holding don the relevant vowel… i Spent too much time on duolingo
I literally had no idea that function existed (I am Zèberdi from now on :lol:)

Mystery signing?

Joël Matib - fits criteria (I think!) age 32, shares Liverpool pedigree with Milner and Lallana - out of contract 2024 - CB/DM
Thiago - also fits needs and criteria - out of contract 2024, age 32 - CM, AM and DM

These aren't the players you're looking for.

There are numerous reports that a growing number players who followed Ronaldo to Saudi are not happy and looking for way back to proper football.

I'd be happy with us recruiting any one or two from the likes of Brozović, Laporte, Wijnaldum, or Mahrez.
