A loan player wouldnt have that on his CV.

yeah but in his MEMORIES he would! would you as a player want to remember the day you got relegated? next to an FA Cup Final defeat its one of the worst things that can happen to a player in his career!

Oh dear. If he was that delicate and sensitive then football shouldn't be his chosen career then.

I would rather be on the bench for a team heading for the premiership than playing for a shit team, with shit service in a shit ground.

I can partly understand that, but at the same time first team football in the championship has got to be better than playing in the reserves, and thats if you are lucky to get a res game at this time of the year. Tank went to play for Barnet in the conference and it did him the world of good! But each to their own I suppose, every player has a different agenda.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
It didn't do Ashton, Virgo and others problems playing for struggling teams. If you are not making your mark at a premiership side, it would certainly be better to test yourself against some of the better defences in the Championship.

He would have had around 15 games to play on loan. If that doesn't bother him, then he is in it for the money.

That is all your honour. I rest my case.

Jeffers is a useless WINGNUT anyway. His ears alone constitute a health & safety hazard, he'd have Kaz's eye out.

so am I, does he really want to look back (on his already shit career) and see a mark agains: Relegation <tick> BHA ?!?! I think not!
Or he could come in, score a few goals, and prove he's not a complete waste of space.

When he was at Everton he was totally useless, I don't know why Charlton ever signed him.
I don't know why ANYONE signs him. He's built a career on a half-decent spell at Everton years ago, and has been utter toss ever since. Quite how he's somehow remained on the payroll of a Premiership club all this time is completely beyond me.

Totally useless? Are you dumb?

Injury prone i'll give you but he had quite a good goalscoring record and was good enough to interest Arsenal, albeit at an inflated price.

The guy even scored on his england debut for fucks sake.

You do chat shit sometimes.

I agree that he is gash NOW... And Im not saying that Arsenal should have paid anywhere near what they did.

But Jeffers was a promising player- he did well at Everton, well enough to get called up into the England squad at 18 and attract attention from the big clubs. That doesnt make him f***ing useless then, as Kev suggested.

Unless you stick him in the ground and use him as some kind of spinning wind turbine generator.

:lolol:

Those ears are quite something. Though I seem to remember reading Zoo or Nuts and seeing that his girlfriend at the time was a model  Money talks.....

He is useless now and will be for the foreseeable future unless he bucks his ideas up. He couldnt even score in Scotland.
