[Albion] So we spend £20M on an attack that wasn't pretty sound to begin with?

At what point do we actually address the elephant in the room ie lack of a right back? Bolstering an already decent attack may well ensure we lose 0-1 instead of the traditional 0-2, but without a right back the only way is the same old same old which is down. Unless of course Duffy can up his game. Nobody else currently looking likely to challenge Montoya for top spot. Still, I'm sure the club know what they are doing.

A drunk mate once turned to me and said "all we need to do is score more goals than them and we'll win"

Also, we have seen a number 9 wearing striker converted into a right back before, you know. Sir Gary Hart redeveloped his game to suit the needs of the squad. And so shall Jurgen Locadia! :jester:

We are going with 4 centre-halves at the back this season. No need for full backs!

BO has reported that signing a RB is not a priority for the club.

GET WITH THE PROGRAM SUGARTITS!

So, Potterball goes something like this:

RWB:
Montoya
Schelotto
Bernardo
March
Sanders

RB:
Montoya
Bernardo
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bernardo/leistungsdaten/spieler/364258/plus/0?saison=2016
Webster
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-webster/leistungsdaten/spieler/212847/plus/0?saison=2014
Balogun
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leon-balogun/leistungsdaten/spieler/56100/plus/0?saison=2015
Sanders

Lots and lots of Bundesliga RB appearances between Bernardos & Baloguns BTW!

Bernardo was awful at RB on his debut. Webster is a CB first, as is Balogun. Sanders is a midfielder. Schelotto is injured and cannot defend anyway. So... I believe we need to sign a RB/RWB, regardless of what BO said.

Played 18 times there for RB Leipzig in 16/17 in the Bundesliga:

Won 11
Drawn 4
Lost 3

Good stats but you might prefer to judge him on his poor half against Watford away on his Premier League debut?

It was more than a half IIRC...
