So another of our rivals look like making a striker signing. And, of course, the NSC know-it-alls diss The Toon and Wilson, clearly demonstrating they haven’t got a clue.

I can guarantee you panicked last season about them signing Joelinton.

Hmmm l'm not as convinced as you, bedding five new signings into the squad won't be as easy as some think, it will take them a while to adapt and find some form.

I don't see the Toon climbing the table that much to be honest.

Not so sure.

Hendrick looks like a squad player.

If Wilson & Fraser start, they’ll have an advantage of knowing each other’s games inside out. What they will provide is goals where Big Joe Linton and Big Andy Carroll failed. They’ll need to bed in their Left Back and Left Wing Back which won’t be quite so difficult if they keep Ritchie and player Fraser ahead of him.

Eduardo is 37 now and has never been the same since that horror leg break.

He's a bigger risk than imho Watkins and for higher fee likley also.

Celtic, big club...... But playing with best players and getting best service in a league of many league 1 standard defences, is not as hard as Brentford, who whilst good were not best in league and standard of opposition weekly is much higher.

I really think Edouard has huge PL flop potential and even 30 million is a big gamble.... Maybe he won't flop, but his job will be 10x harder than it is against Kilmarnock and his scoring success must be measured against how shit the opposition he faces weekly.

For the £45m quoted as Celtic’s price, he looks a better prospect than £40m Joe Linton.

However, I’m not sure that we’re a club who should be spending more than £25m on any player so I think we’re out of the running with this (we’d have held back Duffy if we were seriously after him - I think the price has put us off). Leicester bound I would imagine.

I’ve also given up on Watkins as I think Villa and Spurs are ahead of us and will pay more.

Who will we sign? Is the answer blowing in the Wind or will be saying a collective oh-Dia as a cheap Ligue 1 punt comes our way.

Surely though, if there is any truth in this rumour, he isn't THE striker.

Can we try and get pukki on the cheap. Still see this one as realistic

Great in their promotion season, looked gash and out of his depth last season.

Maxi Gomez from Valencia is for sale and would be the dream for me (not sure it that's possible tho!) it aint Teemu Pukki

Get him in Uncle Tone.

Are you really sure it is everybody else who doesn't have a clue?

The guy was playing for England a year or so ago and was chased by Chelsea. A bargain at £20m IMHO

So on one hand our clueless recruitment team "wasted time" pursuing Nunez, who said publically he wants to join Benfica at the 11th hour. But now Wilson has said he wants to join Newcastle and Villa have pulled out because of player expressing Newcastle preference, still our recruitment team is clueless for not pursuing him?

And that's not in any way fickle?

I made now comment on VillA and Wilson did I?

You made the dumb comment we wasted time on Nunez (who only 1 day before his transfer said he wanted Benfica) and how our recruitment team got it wrong wasting time.... and now you keep banging on about Wilson and keep saying we should be in for him, when Wilson has said he wants to go to Newcastle and thus why Villa have pulled out.

So our recruitment team wasted time in pursuing Nunez who only stated Benfica a day or two before he moved, yet even As Wilson says he wants Newcastle we should still be pursuing him and are missing a trick for not doing so.

If you don't see you're own obvious contradictions you're either a WUM or total bellend.

I suspect you are making a very incorrect assumption on the timing of our club’s knowledge of Nunez preference for Benfica. The agent was public on it weeks before we pulled out. That said I admit I like seeing the NSC mafia make themselves look idiotic.

What is the NSC mafia?

Someone who has a different opinion?
Doesnt state their own baseless assumptions as facts?
Hasn't shit the bed on NSC due lack of transfer business?
