..standing in front of me at Netto. (I should add the only reason I'm their is because I'm buying exceedingly cheap booze for a party..) Small guy, chewing gum.. hood up despite the fact the stores roof is doing a sterling job.. and he's got his mobile phone out. All I can hear is some TINNY shit followed by someone (whom I presume is black) yelling at me. Now, this trend is really getting to me, its in the park, on the buses, round the shops.. and I've had enough. So rather than ask him to turn it off, I decided to get even. I raised my mobile, (which can be very loud) and played - The Fireman Sam realtune at top volume. It totally outdid the little chav prick and he looked devastated that he had been shown up by a children's ringtone. The queue of people laughed at the idiot and he left to pick up some more things..

I'm pleased with myself.

I now keep, GOSBTS, Poddington peas and Thomas the Tank engine on my phone for any similar incidents..

Well done. I have a 15000Hz tone on my phone. Funnily enough, I don't hear it that well, but my kids assure me that it is very, very painful.

I like to test it sometimes.....I think they might be right, judging by the reaction! I also use it in class to get the attention of the children when they are "unfocussed". You can get them all over the internet, another nice little weapon for your arsenal...
