So the Saints game has sold out...

Explain to me how only 'going sometimes' means someone doesn't love The Albion.

I can only occasionally go and I love Brighton! Am going to Saints though - me and my little brother getting train from Poole to meet our dad there! Only previous game this season was home to Brentford. The day we met Gus walking through Sussex uni

If circumstances do not allow, then it of course does not mean that.

If you could go to loads of games, but choose to only go to for example: Saints and Charlton then you of course don't.

Either way though it doesn't matter :)

Oh do shut up, I know all that I'm not an imbecile! I know I've had all this time, I just haven't got round to it *lazy*

Let's not start a binfest

Will be a great night, I'm certain I'll get there somehow anyway :)

Why start a thread having a go at those who dont go often then just because you didnt get a ticket?
What were you expecting, a thread full of people offering condolences?

Was going to get mine this weekend, 10 days should have been enough I'd have thought

I know I can't complain etc (well, i can, and i am) but I've been to every bloody away game for ages but all these Gus Bus Jumpers have taken my seat!

It sold out last season, plus I'm sure you said on another thread you've been only been going to Brighton games 3 seasons?
Serves ya right.

It didn't sell out last season, I know of people who got some at the ticket office. Still, 10 days before is mighty impressive!

Come on, you can disagree with me of course but to start insulting a person you don't know is a bit stupid.

Less than 2 years ago, you attended your first away game? I assume so as you started a thread asking how to get to Millwall...(which is fair enough, everyone has to start somewhere..etc)

But to think after 2 years you 'deserve' (didn't say that exactly, but in your own words you did) a ticket is hilarious. Some people maybe went to every game between 1960-1980..stopped. Then started again because of the run of form? Not something I agree with, but it happens. End of. And like it or not, them people deserve one more than you.

You can have mine for a bullseye.

Hiney's summed up my last point better than me, just in less words.

Oi Paxton i would have thought you'd have forgotten my Millwall thread by now? Anyway as I've said before, I was a bit of a train virgin then so I really don't see the problem with asking how to get somewhere! it's the classic old debate isn't it..who deserves the ticket more than who etc..I think the only answer is: whoever gets them first. I'm not moaning that I haven't got one and other non regulars have..I should and could have got in sooner! Sorry for being so hilarious, but you can stop laughing now, because never did I say I deserve one. It just bugs me that others have got one who don't go to bloody Carlisle too :p :lolol:

How so? If circumstances don't allow, then he's right. If you only choose to go to 2 or 3 games a year, of course you don't love 'em, no? Not that it matters either way..

Was just using it as my reasoning to why I knew (i'm right, yeah?) you've only been going 2 years.

I said it years ago, that Brighton should have a loyalty point system. I agree that the "I deserve one more than you" is pathetic, but if you've been to EVERY SINGLE game for the past 2 years that's still not enough to assume you SHOULD get one. As I said, as I'd rather my ticket went to a Brighton Fan, like yourself, you can have mine plus the money i'll spend in a pub down in Southampton..

Maybe people want to do other things, save money for the future etc? Once you get that passion you never lose it.

Why don't you just appreciate the games you do go to, and as you have said, you will probably find a way to get to this one. No point complaining when there is nout to complain about

As I've just said about 5 times, I know it's only my own fault. Blummin hell I was only seeing if others were in the same position!

I've been going regularly (i.e. 35 games a season) since the 2008/2009 season, but have been going occasionally (around 10 home games a season) since about 2003. Anyway, are you touting? BAN HIM :hilton:

I've missed out to, but no-one to blame but myself for that! I wonder if the club will ask Saints for more tickets. The home stands surely won't sell out (St Mary's capacity is 30,000!)

Well southampton said earlier in the week they had sold 20,000 so hopefully it will be a sell-out. There can't have been many 30,000 crowds in league one!

Would never tout, despise the c'unts. Was half joking anyway. I do feel a bit guilty that I've managed to get a Saints & Woking ticket ahead of some BHA fans though.
