Tricky one, this. Before the tournament started, I wanted Brazil to win it if England didn't, no doubt. I love Brazil, wonderful country, fantastic football heritage and it would make for one big party. But their antics on the pitch have put me off. They're an average international side who resort to cynical fouls and downright cheating when they're in trouble, so my support for them is waning. So, after careful consideration, I'm going to throw my support behind Chile.

I think I'd just like to see the team playing the best football win. I know that is a cop out of an answer but I really would be disappointed if somebody snuck it with negative football, a bit like Greece in Euro 2004. So for me I'd just like to see truly DESERVED winners.

I suppose it would also be nice to see a new team get a star added to their shirt. Perhaps Chile or Holland. Maybe Colombia.

I just want to be BLOWN AWAY by the team who do make it all the way, even if that is Germany or Argentina, who we're not supposed to like

If it wasn't Italy, I'd say this is an impossibility; they're just not good enough. Aren't they?

It's not a vintage Italy side but they still have a world class goalkeeper, a solid defence, possibly the best player in his position in Andrea Pirlo and a couple of strikers who can score goals when needed. Daniele De Rossi is also worth a mention as a player who'd make it into most other sides in this competition.

Add to that the fact that they don't often give a poor account of themselves in tournaments and you have to say you can't rule them out
