surely EVERY game when we are in this position is "must win"

got Tranmere next week and Swindon after the Colchester game ... it's doable..

exactly , I mean a win up at Tranmere is a big ask - a draw is more realistic , however Colchester & Swindow are very much winnable then I believe its Northampton at home and Walsall away - not exactly massive games , approach them in the right mainframe and theres you base :)

I wonder what sort of reception Hammond will get on Boxing day ?

I won't be applauding or booing him.

He was a decent player who put in some good performances but shafted us for a crack at Championship football, snigger.

I think you will find the truth was he had a value therefore we cashed in our chips.

I hope that the announcer, who ever it is on the day, does not say 'a warm welcome back to Dean Hammond' and if he does it is met with a resounding chorus of booing as he shafted us for a few pounds and DK did exactly what he had to by selling him.

The problem that we have is that clubs are not coming to Withdean hoping to keep it tight and get a draw and perhaps with a little luck get a win they are actually coming here expecting to win and anything less is a failure.

Why wouldn't people want to welcome him back?

He was our club captain and a very god player for us who gotoffeed more money and thaught he would ty his luck a diffrent club afterspendin his entire carrer at Brighton.

I doubt that anyone on here would turn down that chance if it happened to them in their working life!

It was the manner in which he kept stalling saying he was going to sign the contract in he hope that Colchester could get him for nothing and he would get a sizeable signing on fee.

Were you involved in the negotiations? I do not want knight out, but do you seem to place much trust in a man who is ruthless with the axe. For example congratulating Wilkins on the last home game of the season whilst in the background working on his replacement, is hardly trust worthy. So how do you know hammond was in the wrong here?

I for one will be giving Dean Hammond an applause when he comes back to the Withdean - it is the least he deserves after being S**t on by Dick Knight - the man that "never rated him much"
