So if Trump wins next Tuesday will all the liberal lefties bang on and on about a re-vote?

No! Of course they won't. Why? It's called DEMOCRACY that's why.

Trump and Brexit are just what the world needs. A bloody good shake up.

If the result is anything like the last time a Republican succeeded a Democrat, then yes. Why? It's called democracy that's why.
And, please spare us from your bloody good shake ups.

I love the irony that Brexiters continue to shout that everyone should shut up now and respect the vote of the 52%, whilst ignoring the fact that the reason that we had a referendum was because after they lost one in the 1970s, they didn't stop banging on about it for forty years!

While I'm border line praying for a Clinton victory, what would be pretty interesting is if we end up in a situation like 2000, where a legal challenge goes to the Supreme Court. Imagine if it's the Republicans challenging a Democratic victory this time and the court's tied 4-4. The original decision would stand, and all because the Republicans refused to confirm a new justice. That'd be rather lovely.

Thats because people voted for a Common Market and thats not what they eventually got.

Trump has said that if he doesn't win he'll appeal against the vote...

Do you understand the difference between a general election and a non binding referendum? It was always just gathering opinion. The us is an election so obviously will be accepted unless trump loses of course.

Ah yes, it's democratic that even though around 60% of the electorate DIDN'T vote for Brexit (either by voting remain or not voting at all) it's still going to happen. Seems legit.

Face facts - Trump's not going to be elected and we're never going to leave the EU.

Win, win for the liberal lefties.

Why are you adding all the people who didn't vote to the remain? How convenient.

The fact is that 37% of eligible voters voted for Brexit. So in a line of people 6 or 7 out of 10 either voted against it or weren't enthused enough to vote for it.

It seems a dubious basis from which to embark on a decade of radical reforms and huge risk-taking on the UK economy.

We elect a government every 5 years using this same method, although I totally agree it's broken, you can't just decide this when a decision goes against you.

Unfortunately there are not any decent candidates who have any great number of supporters. Neither Clinton or Trump are even remotely good options which makes this about choosing the lesser of the two evils.

For me Clinton as the country has less chance of self destructing under her leadership but 4 years of either will be 4 years too many
