Pretty good, was promoted at work and moved to a nicer house in a better part of the city, no more scrotey neighbours reducing my quality of life...though they might be happy that the poncey suvverner has moved away...frankly, I don't give a damn.

Not working for go harvey go harvey go harvey norman anymore?

I've had a shit year in general. Got a job where they use me because I can actually do it properly yet get paid the same as the monkies I have to fix the fuckups of, had to get both my feet operated on, few relatives died, etc.

No. I was admin manager at their new Limerick Store. I didn't realise that admin manager means taking care of absolutely everything that isn't sales related. Not that that was the problem, I became ill almost immediately on taking the job. I just thought I wasn't coping but didn't find out I was actually ill until August.

I'm now Financial Controller at a nice Hotel in the Glen of Aherlow.

I tell you what though I'll never underestimate again what retail managers have to do for the pay they get, it certainly opened up my eyes.

Deano being appointed.

Next year could be even better.

Baby being born.
Brighton in strong league position if not the Championship.

Only downside of both we still have this goverment doing it's utmost to ruin the country, oh well not much longer.

Bad year: slipped disc, off work for whole year until September, needed operation to sort it out. Mum died last month. Good friend had some awful problems too but all sorted now.

Next year: first grandchild due, bit of shock but all going well and something nice to look forward to. Bit of inheritance due too so may buy myself a sports car! Lifelong dream

The absolute worst year of my life :(

We lost our beautiful daughter and while we have had a new baby since then our home and our family will never be the same. I just hope, that while the hurt never goes away it gets a little easier to deal with because I am not sure I can deal with any more years like this.

Here's to next year...

I'm so sorry to hear that, losing mum last month was bad enough but can't compare to losing your own child. I hope that maybe next year will ease the pain for you all and that your new baby helps with that. Take care

When I moved back here from DC a few years back I flogged my faithful ole Suzuki Samurai for a few bucks. Keep your eyes peeled on the Post Classifieds and you may be lucky enough to pick the old girl up.

If there was a *hug* smilie, I'd post it here; but there isn't, so I can't.

Here's to 2007, Starry
