90% is excellent with 4 months until the start of the season.

PB also says in interview that they've sold 1K more to the the waiting list and expect more when STs go on general sale so not a final number.

(My interpetation) 90% of existing ST holders renewing is approx 19,350 with 1K on waiting list means PB implying (unless i'm mistaken) c20,350 ST sales so far in April compared to what ended up being c21,500 at beginning of season for 2014/15. They'll do well to sell a lot more but
this is up on even the most optimistic of estimates in this thread. Even mine.

We must never forget the Amex got 8k or so extra seats put in from the first season and original plans. If we still have 20k STH going into the 5th (FIFTH) season at the Amex, especially after such a poor season, we are doing tremendously well and are still amongst the elite in the country for season ticket sales. Sorry to use the 'look how far we've come' since Withdean line but errrrm.... Look how far we've come since withdean!

20k in the Championship is SUPERB!

Plenty of Palace on here quoting the Amex 1st season effect, 2nd season effect, then the 3rd season effect etc etc. maybe we're a better supported club after all.. (But we knew that anyway). Our time will come, with the academy and Tony Bloom at the helm, it's just a matter of time.
29,000 + against Fulham and what looks like 29,000+ against Norwich when we are at the bottom of Championship shows the potential we have. There's not many clubs would get these crowds when struggling as we have this season.

Oh yes I remember them constantly rambling / hoping that it would be that. If anyone could be bothered to dig out the quotes it would be very embarrassing for them! Yeh, there have always been a few floaters at the Amex as with any big club / stadium but Sussex is a big place, and the hardcore fan base is bigger than most of us dared dream!

And still losing millions! Arrogance wont balance the books!:moo:

Very good news about season ticket renewals which has put a smile on my face. I feared the worse.

One point i want to make. Didn't Barber say last year every club expects an average of a 7% drop in renewals? In the latest video he has changed that figure to 10-15%?.

Don't want to point score here.

Not sure arrogance is the right word. 29,000+ crowd against Fulham and what looks like same again against Norwich are a fact. Tony Bloom is prepared to balance the books, everything is in place. If Palace can make money by scrapping promotion and staying up why can't we. Infrastructure and fan base is superior and looking solid.

If that indicates a reduction of only 10-15%, then this augers well for next season considering what has been on offer this year.

they think a fair few of the waiting list will convert, and will do ok on general sales.
Barber...
"We're close to 90% renewal. This shows a lot of faith from the fans. Fans have been very very loyal to the club.
We're on course for c 20,000 + ST numbers for the third season in a row. "

If they get to 20,500, that means a drop of about 5%.

Today... "on course for biggest home gate of the season. 29K+"
