Excellent start and has already begun stearing up well clear of the relegation zone and into mid table

I think that says it all really.

However I will say more. We look stronger defensively, that is not say strong defensively, just stronger.
Some of the passing moves we have put together under Poyet have been the best for years, Swindon for Forsters goal, today in the first half, Wycombe for most of the second half.
Overall he seems to be improving us game by game, bar the odd set back like Orient at home.
His transfer dealings are up for debate, seeing as we have only seen three of his players so far. Two of those only today too, however both full backs played better than anything we have seen in those positions this season.

On the money
If all the 13 games were league points, he's averaging 1.69 per game- times that by 25 games and you get 42.5 which puts us in the p/o

i think he's doing a ruddy good job personally - not brilliant, just ruddy good!

Not very happy about a) the things he says in public..

Like what?

ps I think he's doing well - all things considered - & we're looking like a side who have some much-needed resilience. Still a long way from the finished article, admittedly, but the signs are looking positive.

Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel. But he's not set any fires alight yet. I am however very hopeful he will be amazing

What surprises me is that most people say 'better than expected'. Considering the general orgasming that followed his appointment, that surprises me

Listen to the end of his interview on Seagulls World from yesterday and you will see the detail he is putting into the training. Talking abut working in groups and other such technical issues that you couldn't really see a Neil Wankcock type of manager doing. Quality guy and quality manager, watch us go.

Really fancy a result at Vanilla on Saturday after seeing the Hammers game today.

Get on the Gus Bus to Falmer. Now!

Would echo the general sentiment. We have certainly improved since Slade. Our home form is still not good enough & I would like to see a ruthless streak from our manager to rid us of the deadwood. The current squad is certainly good enough for mid table & no more. We will need to buy some quality in the summer if we have higher aspirations

Probably because the poll options aren't very good, to say he's done an outstanding job is going too far, but then he's probably done better than 'average'. So people go for the option between those two, even though it's a bit daft. I'd say he's not done quite as well as expected after Southampton! He's doing well though. The results speak for themselves. He's trying to get us playing good football but also make us tough to beat, which we have been at least against the lesser teams.
There are a few things I disagree with though, firstly he seems to rate Navarro and Dickinson. I can see what he is trying to do with Navarro, protect the defence and gain more control and more options in midfield to enable us to play a passing game but unfortunately he offers very little, and when we're away from home he tends to push Dicker a little wider which is a waste. He should be at the heart of our midfield. In any case it leaves our midfield very lopsided and heavily dependent on Elliot Bennett to create chances. He's a quality player but it's too much to ask him to create everything.

He is doing okay - yesterday we played good passing football for 45 minutes - the best I've seen us play in a while. Now we need to do it for 90 minutes because when we invite teams on to us we are in trouble. What do we still need? Certainly a left sided attacking midfielder would be a major asset but more than anything (and I know I am inviting the wrath of tcb and the other "let's thrash it for kuipers" boys) we need a goalkeeper who can command his area and come for crosses - his failure to do so is (in my opinion)at the root of our defensive frailties. Do I think Brezovan is the answer? Probably not but if Gus addresses the issue we could turn our season round and start to become more of a force ahead of next season. If not....................
