there were a few guys singing "theres only one Elliott Bennett" during the warm up and he applauded the crowd, was a nice gesture.

Nail. On. Head. As well as being a very catchy song and easy to remember, it is also FUN to sing. I was belting it out in the shower this morning.

It will catch on - people have moaned that we're 'copying' (99% of football songs are copied) etc but everyone agrees that we need a greater repetoire of songs. If this works and catches on we can also then try others that we decide on on nsc and take to games and get it to catch on...

Agreed. It would sound QUALLA at Orient, where the acoustics are brilliant.

Thinking back to the Mitchell Johnson song the barmy army were singing in Oz how about

"he runs down the left
he runs down the right
Elliot Bennet, makes fullbacks look shite"

you could always replace full backs with Watford, Orient, Palace depending on the opposition.

It seems that far too many of our "supporters" were too busy slagging off our own players to be bothered singing anyones praises. Why do people bother going to watch a team & then spend their time undermining our own players? We really do have some proper knobheads amongst our genuine through thick & thin support. It's a shame. They are a shame on an otherwise brilliant set of supporters. I can virtually guarantee that a majority of those doing the slagging off would be Chelsea or Spurs on another Saturday & wouldn't watch Brighton if we weren't top of the league.
