So, how are you getting out of work/uni/school to watch the game?

I won't be: I have to work.

I'm going to stuck inside the Old Vic, watching As You Like It. I certainly hope I bloody like the score when I get out.

To make things worse, IF England get through to the semis but don't top the group, I'll miss that game too as I'll be at bloody Glyndebourne - something that normally fills me with joy but will have me hopping mad if I miss England in the semi-finals of the World Cup. That's why I want them to win the group - even more than usual.

The organisation I work for runs school buses ... if the drivers can be arsed to turn up.

How many kids will be stuck at school tomorrow afternoon, unable to get home?

The one I'm picking up won't be, and if he thinks he'll be listening to f-ing Heart in the car he can feck right off.

I'll get to watch the last 30 mins though (depending on what the score is at the time)

I started at 7:45am, and am using flexi-time for the afternoon.

Will be in the pub at 1pm to reserve my seat...

I start work at 4 today, but I'm pretty sure my employers are letting us watch the game (they cancelled a meeting that clashed with it, which is a pretty good indication), so I'll probably head in early so I don't miss any of it on the tube. And if it does all go horribly wrong I can just go and actually do some work!

As I run my own business over here, this is what we're doing for the staff.

We're rescheduling evening appointments to allow football-supporting employees to watch the game.

The non-football supporting employees can all join us down at Barasti on the beach later where there'll be some money behind the bar.

As long as England win, it'll be a long night....
