Say what you want. I was fuming after how we set up and failed to adapt to Forest. It was niave and embarrassing and it followed rumours of discipline issues in the team and a number of frustrating results at home. I think with my heart during results like that, rather than my head and that is why I don't run a football club. So in short, do one to all these 'fans of the year' using the benefit of hindsight, to try and put others down for sharing their frustrations and opinions in a fans forum.
Exactly. Show me someone who isn’t reactionary when they’ve travelled the length of the country for a 7-0 defeat and I’ll show you someone who really doesn’t get it.

I wouldn’t want those people, myself included, anywhere near running a football club. Leave that to PB and TB.

Extreme low followed by extreme high. . . .

We'd been on a poor run and the questions were justified. Beating Fulhams scummy neighbours twice in a week is fantastic by anyones standards, but we're still a work in progress. . Bmuff at home will be more of a test.
Prior to the Everton / Forest defeats we had only lost one game since December 5th, a run of 9 games. Obviously that 1 defeat was to Palace, and too many of the games were drawn. Funny thing football, and statistics...

Back on the fence for me but that is who I am. It is either black or white, brilliant or utter cack. There is no middle ground for me but I suppose fence is middle ground, lol
I've rarely seen so few words which make so little sense.

So a question. If Bloom called Hurzeler into his office this morning and sacked him, which would best describe your reaction

A) delighted
B) neutral
C) horrified

Yes, after two good games against Chelsea our next game is against a team who could record one of the lowest point totals in Premier League history - what could possibly go wrong?

There's being upset, which we all were, then there is being an immature man/woman/adult baby and calling for the manager to be sacked.
I don't remember seeing a lot of people calling for his head.

Sure some people did, but my memory is a lot of people saying he needed to start turning things around or they'd want him replaced in the summer.
That was certainly my position after Forest.

No, but saying the manager hasn't got a clue, and should be shown the door immediately possibly does! :)
This is exactly the distinction.

Yeh, of course you'll be pissed off at getting tonked 7-0. Especially if you went. Especially if we'd had some ordinary results and performances in the lead up.

But sacking the manager is a big call. At no point was it obvious that this manager was irredeemably bad. He's been outfoxed a few times, but then he's done that to others in other games. We're consistently top half, with a lower half wage budget and constant stream of injuries.

He's done pretty well for a first season, the table proves it. We would have to be a basket case club to have sacked him and we're not that. Cooler heads and a few less names being called on all sides of this argument I think is needed

He’s only done what some of us were saying to do and what not to do.

He could have read threads on here and thought hold on a minute I’m definitely messing around with that right hand side way to much lets stick with Minteh.
Three at the back I agree with them again it’s pants.
One in midfield what was I thinking not doing that again, those NSC armchair managers have a point.
Pedro as a 9 doesn’t work ffs they’ve nailed it again.
😏
Thank god he read NSC after Forest 🤣

This episodic round of OTT outpourings between 'bedwetters' and 'non-bedwetters' is really frustrating for the rest of us. It's an emotional game of course, but can we not pause for a while and calm down after games before launching out on the keyboard at the manager or other supporters?
That's the social media generation for you, people lose all sense of reality in a desperate rush to post their "opinion" for likes, clicks and engagements!

Sorry, but there were posters insulting him personally and wanting us to lose to Chelsea twice so that he would be sacked! Maybe you were selective reading because there was a lot of unnecessary vitriol.

I Must have been very selective.
I genuinely don't remember anyone wanting us to lose against Chelsea.
It couldn't have been widespread., surely.

Is this just a case of one idiot going over the top andthen anyone being unhappy with teh manager's results ,get sbundled into the same category?

Hence HWTs hugely simplistic thread title.

No, there were several people who appeared to be of the same knee-jerk reaction to the result at Forest.

Sometimes managers get things wrong. Sometimes players get things wrong - for example, we did concede a penalty, an own goal and the keeper gifting a goal in the Forest game - things that are largely out of the managers' control.

Shit as they say, happens. If shit keeps happening, then you have a problem, but if not, I think people should give the manager time to prove what he can do!

I think most importantly, FH only made one change from the Forest game for the FA Cup match against Chelsea. I think the lesson learnt from the Forest game - you need a midfield!

I get your point. But as I stated, describing people as "bedwetters" and telling them to f*** off is not exactly helpful

For what it's worth I think Our coach is out of his depth, but I desperately want him to succeed. Time will tell, but getting all high and mighty about one good result is not exactly helpful. The cub will still continue with or without Fabian
Which coaches are totally in their depth?

Honest, no edge, question
